Concern about a child’s hearing as they approach school can be a worry for parents. Children might present with speech delay or recurrent ear infections. A detailed assessment will help identify the reason, be it glue ear or an inner ear hearing loss. Our breadth of understanding is based on the experience of running a regional paediatric hearing assessment unit and a hearing implant unit covering a regional population of 7 million.
Moderate to severe inner ear hearing loss requires careful assessment by clinicians experienced in managing pre and post-lingual deafness. We have a team that can simply reassure or arrange the appropriate hearing aid for your child.
Some children require a surgical solution to their hearing loss or middle ear disease. We offer the highest quality of surgery with the philosophy that ears should be dry, pain free and hearing.
