Mr Neil Donnelly

 

Neil Donnelly is a Consultant ENT surgeon at Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. He completed his Undergraduate and Postgraduate training in London. He has gained wide experience in ENT working in a number of major teaching hospitals including Guy's & St Thomas' Hospitals, Great Ormond Street and the National Hospital for Neurology & Neurosurgery. He has been awarded three prestigious Fellowships that have provided specialist training in Skull Base Surgery, Otology, Hearing Implantation Surgery and Balance Disorders.

Mr Patrick Axon

 

Patrick Axon has over 10 years experience as a consultant ENT surgeon at Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.  He has developed extensive experience managing ear disease and receives complex tertiary referrals from around the UK and Europe.  He has pioneered new surgical techniques for the management of hearing loss and chronic middle ear disease, which have led to clear improvement in patient outcome.

Dr David Baguley

 

David Baguley is a Consultant Clinical Scientist (Audiology) and is Head of Audiology at  Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. His clinical interests are tinnitus, hyperacusis, and patients with complex hearing problems. David studied Psychology (BSc) and then Audiology (MSc) at Manchester University and became the Head of the Audiology Department at Addenbrooke’s Hospital, Cambridge in 1989. He has over 110 peer-review publications, and a PhD on tinnitus from the University of Cambridge.

Mr James Tysome


James Tysome is a consultant ENT surgeon at Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. He treats patients with complex ear and skull base disease and is a member of multidisciplinary hearing implant and skull base teams. His postgraduate training included advanced otology and hearing implants at Guy’s and St.Thomas’ Hospitals, paediatric ENT at Great Ormond Street Hospital, a fellowship in neurotology and skull base surgery at Cambridge University Hospitals and working as a Clinical Instructor at Stanford University School of Medicine in California, USA, where he gained further experience of skull base surgery, cochlear implants and robotic surgery.
